DMS stands for Direct Access Momery /Addressing .DMA is a method of transferring data from one memory area to another without having to go through the central processing unit. computer without DMA channels can transffer data to and from devices much more quicklly than those in which the data path goes through's computer's main processer.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory,the volatile memory used to temporarily store information for processing.This is the fastest type of memory for the computer ,
and the most expensive.Information in RAM is lost when the power is turned off.The storage locations can be accessed in any order.
